Does not walk
She floats
Hold her hand
And
She floats away

She’ll never
Come back.

ZEN ART, PROSE & POETRY

My visual art work includes photography and mixed media (principally pastels and graphite combined with digital imaging).

My writing is an exploration of Zen in poetry and prose.

OX AND CIRCLE

Entering meditation and following the path of Zen changes the way a person thinks about themselves, about others, about the world, not from an esoteric or learned point of view but from, as it were, the inside, the guts.  These pages follow that journey for and ordinary (lay) person.

CONSTANT ARISING,

which follows below, is a meditation log running from December 2012 to the present day.  The story chronicled, not a series of events (nothing really happened) but as patterns of thought which arose spontaneously during meditation and these thought are expressed through poetry, prose, and artwork.

ZEN

Entering meditation and following the path of Zen, changes how a person thinks about themselves, and others, about the world, not an esoteric or learned point of view, but from, as it were, the inside, the guts.

BACK TO THE MOUNTAIN

by Graham Fox

A fresh experience of Zen through new eyes; this book explores Zen with the explorer. It travels, not with a leader, but with the traveler discovering Zen as it goes. The book covers the ongoing journey of one follower of the way of Zen towards the light of Zen; it is written as it came, through meditation, in poetry and prose. It was not created by the author, at least not in any conventional sense, rather everything in this book happened to the author and because of this you will find a lack of order, of logical progression

In addition to this title, Graham also has two books on Zen poetry also available.
